4. Purpose of the Qualification

The purpose of the training is to provide skilled manpower to improve the existing capacity of the
light engineering sector. This training will provide the requisite skills to the trainees to become
Instrumentation Technicians. It will enable the participants to meet the challenges in the field of
light engineering industry. Further, to improve the skill level of the Instrumentation Technicians and
prepare them for the light engineering industry to meet the market competition nationally and
